“LUCK”

The Universal Currency

What is luck? Is it something we're born with, stumble upon, or create ourselves?

"LUCK" is a coin with no monetary value. Its worth is entirely determined by the person holding it.

There's something wonderfully absurd about assigning meaning to a random event. A coin knows nothing of our hopes or fears, yet its answer can feel remarkably profound.

I've always been fascinated by coins. They're miniature sculptures, designed to be held, exchanged, and carried through the world. I'm equally fascinated by manufacturing processes. Creating "LUCK" was a joy of discovery.

From exploring materials and finishes to sourcing and collaborating with manufacturing partners, bringing this little object into existence was a joy.

LUCK is part sculpture, part philosophical joke, and part decision-making tool.

Its value is whatever you make of it.
